Bought My First Pieces Of Gear!!

im stoked. i went shopping today. and i got my first pieces of gear.

2mm ignite bare shorty.
plana avanti X-3 fins.
and Akona booties..

i didnt have much money to spend.. this all cost me about $300.. which i didnt feel was too bad..

im really happy with the wet suit.. i am a really tall girl, and i weigh a lot.. abut 150 lbs.. but i was able to buy a size 8 (110-125 lbs) which pretty much makes me look really really hot.. lol..

ill post some pics of my stuff when i get a chance. .

im moving to costa rica!! thats the only reason i got a shorty.. i will be doing OWD and AOWD in ontario, but during the summer, and i am used to the water here, so i should be ok.. i took a pic.. i look aweful!!

Im going to move to San Jose, but then i will be diving/surfing around Playa Blanca..

costa rica is my jump off point.. im going to get completely certified there, then go everywhere! thats my goal anyways..

Right on, go to Witches Rock for some epic sets if you plan on surfing a lot. Little bit of a journy, but a classic spot.

Nicee, I have a Lost 7'1'', pretty sick ride. Tore the fin out on the oceanfloor last summer, so its a little haggard looking but battle scars give character to a board =D.

Very nice wetsuit ... looks like it fits pretty good. It should work fine during the warmer months.

Costa Rica is great. I've done several surfing and diving trips over the years, and have come to love the country and it's people. My only regret is that I didn't buy up some beach front property while it was till affordable.
