I need a new backup to my computer, just for bottom time and depth. I was reading that the oms bottom timer only read dive time to 99 minutes. Does anyone know if this time rols over or if it stays on a constant 99 min. Same question for the uwatec digital bottom timer. Do the bottom time minutes roll over. I do not want to purchase either if the minutes dont roll over if i am planning a dive that raquires bottom and stop time to run over the minute limit(99) on each of the timers. Help would be appreciated. My backup computer has just kicked the bucket and i am not spending money on a new one. ill just go to tables and the timer if the timer runs over.

The OMS and Uwatec are the same units. I have always assumed the Uwatec would reset and start counting over after 99. Would make no sense to not do that, but have only been to 84 so far.

The Suunto D3 and Stinger also appear to be popular bottom timers, although quite a bit more than the Uwatec B/T.
