Ed and I bought this house as a "fixer upper". We have done all the major repairs which include replacing all the windows, adding a 3rd bathroom, finishing off one of the bedrooms, soffit and roof repair/replacement. We are getting ready to paint, and all that will need to be done is good landscaping.

It is actually a duplex, one side 2 bedroom 2 bath and the other side 3 bedroom 1 bath. Each has a living area and full kitchen. The 3 bedroom has access to a screened in porch (needs some tlc). It also has a cistern to collect rainwater for a garden.

The house next to ours up on the hill has been offered to us and we want to buy it, but we need to sell this one first.

Currently rented for 2,000 NAF per month, excluding utilities. It would be great for income and eventually resale (the real estate market here is booming, and inventory is VERY low). We really hate to part with it but we REALLY want the house next door to us on the hill for family to stay when then visit!

It would be perfect for someone who comes to Bonaire often, or wants to and have a place to stay, while getting some income from one of the apartments and have someone keep an eye on it when you are away.

Ok, a little more info that might be of help:

2 bedroom/2 bath apartment

Livingroom/Kitchen: living room with open kitchen it is an open floorplan with a breakfast bar counter that separates the kitchen into the living area.: 13'3" x 22'4"

Back bedroom/bath (separate rooms of course, but bathroom is within the bedroom (like a master, so they consider it one measurement) : 13'3" x 8' 10"

Front (Master) Bedroom: 16' x 9'3"
Master bath 9' 3" x 6' 3"

3 bedroom/1 bath house:

Front Porch: 16'4" x 5'
Living room: 16'4" x 12'6"
Kitchen including eat in area: 16' 4" x 9' 9"
Front Bedroom: 11' x 13'
Middle Bedroom: 9' 7" x 13'

It is about a 3 - 5 minute drive to Den Laman, Buddy Dive and Sand Dollar Area. I will try and scan in a map with it's location.

For those that are familiar with the island, if you take Kaya Amsterdam (this is the road where the circle is by the old Sunset Beach (where the new Divi All Inclusive is going), head east to first 4 way intersection, make a right, then left (you have to go right or left), it is the 2nd house on the left.
