Have been there and did the 6 boat dives and really enjoyed them. It is a decent break from the shore diving (packing and hauling gear). The packing and hauling is not a big deal though.
Whatever decision you make you cannot go wrong. I would bet you will get 50/50 on responses as to if you should spend the money.
For my .02 I would do it, we felt it was worth it.

CJH you should keep the boat dives,they are cheap enough..by your profile I see you are new divers and is this is most likely your 1st dive vacation..By going on the boat you get to know some of the local talent and as I said ask for Zoo and Alex..they will help you out if you have any problems on your 1st dive there(buoyancy checks/interesting animal life)
