I was surprised to see my anchor chain from 25 feet away after jumping into the water this morning. The ocean had a blue tint rather than the usual green. The visibility lessened to about twenty feet on the reef, but still better than we've had recently. There was also a serious thermocline. The surface water was 70° with bottom temp at 57°. I went from sweating to thinking I should have worn a thicker bunny suit.
