Blue vs gold?

Is there a difference between the gold and blue padi cards. My open water and nitrox are gold but my aow just arrived in the mail and it is blue.

Gold cards are issued by PADI 5-star facilities.
Your certification is unaffected by the color of the card.

Gold cards have a neutral buoyancy. Blue cards float, so you need a few grams more lead.

When your LDS did your PIC, (ordering your card from PADI), they had a choice of selecting the background on your card. That's it.
