I just got home from a week in the Bahamas on a Blackbeard's cruise. Here are some of the photos I got.

Everything was shot with an Olympus OM-D E-M10 w/Olympus 14-42 f/3.5-5.6 lens, in a Meikon housing, with a Nauticam WWL-1 wet wide angle lens, and 2 x Inon Z240 strobes. Night dive shots also had an Xtar D36 in Flood light mode, set on Low, mounted directly on top of the housing as a focus (and see-what's-in-front-of-me) light.

Wonderful photos! Was this your first Blackbeard's trip? How did you like it?

Thanks!

It was my first time ever in the Bahamas and my first ever liveaboard.

I liked it a lot. Not sure I would do Blackbeard's again, but that's a whole nother question. I definitely enjoyed the experience.

I totally understand. Blackbeard's was our first LOB when we were young. It was a great trip at a cheap price and we had a lot of fun, but we never did another Blackbeard's cruise. We decided that we really did prefer a little more comfort and privacy on vacation; but whenever someone is looking for a nearby, easy, inexpensive, tropical trip with lots of diving and sharks, I am happy to recommend Blackbeard's.

Most of us aren't under 30 anymore. Hosteling isn't for everyone :p

Oh me just loves these beauty dancing jawfish

Those things are damn hard to capture in a photo!! I spent 5 - 10 minutes each time on about 3 different dives just parked on the sand by a hole trying to get an in-focus picture of one. The one above is the best I got and it's still not very good. The focus is not very sharp at all.

They are fast. You have to be very stealthy and patient beyond belief until you become an immovable piece of the scenery and even then, you can't actually look at them. Lol

Just wait until you try to capture signaling sailfin blennies.
