Hi,

I am a single diver scheduled for Blackbeard's on August 18, 2007.

Anyone else out there scheduled to go that week?

Do you know which boat you will be sailing aboard?

There is a group of us from Syracuse heading out on the Morning Star that week.

I have no idea. A buddy may be going, but won't know until Monday. Have you ever been on Blackbeards before?

I hear they have lots of diving, pretty hard partying, and lots of fun.

Group from Texas leaving on the 18th, maybe 12 of us??? Don't know which boat, we have our trip meeting Wednesday night.

No I have not. This will be our trip leader's third trip with them and he has nothing but good things to say.

A friend of mine just got back from a trip and had a blast. If you want to take a look at some pictures go here:

When is everyone getting into Freeport? I am flying in Friday early afternoon. Not sure where I am staying.

From what ya'll have heard, how many dives per day? I was hoping to do 4-5 dives a day.

We're flying in Saturday, don't know what time yet. From what I can tell, it is about 3-4 dives a day, 20-22 or so total for the week, but some people have to skip the last dive or two for deco.

Was on the Morning Star mid-July for a week and loved it.

Eat, sleep, dive and drink (water or booze). Bimini is the big party night where hang overs the next morning abound. I'm not a huge drinker and felt no pressure to keep up but had a good time none-the-less.

Pack a bunch of t-shirts, couple shorts and a couple bathing suits. That's about it beyond a toilet kit and sun screen.

Dives were awesome and more awesome. You'll have a blast. If you get a chance to do a night dive on the Sepona... do it! It was the best night dive for me ever and even rivals some of my best daytime experiences. Not deep but tons of life.

20 dives is the normal if the weather's good... our boat had possible 22 dives because of our captain and his knowledge of things... say "Hi" to Capt. Grayson when you see him.

Can't wait for next year! :D

Yep, my daughter and I had to sit out the last 2 dives because of time to fly. Really recommend 24 hours at least because of all the diving you'll have done.

We flew in first thing Saturday morning and left mid-afternoon on Friday. Next year I think we'll fly in first thing Saturday morning and depart Saturday morning the following week... just so I can get those last couple of wreck dives in... :D

Thanks for the info. I am really looking forward to going.

I assume there are hot showers on Bimini? Any idea of internet cafe to check emails?

What was the food like? Good? Excellent? Fresh seafood? What types of meals?

What time does the diving start in the mornings? How many night dives?

Thanks.
