Black Ice - Black Diamond

Hello Aqua Lung,

In the AL US website the Black Diamond BC appears to have been discontinued. Is the Black Ice is the replacement for the Black Diamond?

Black Ice is replacement for Black Diamond, and the Black Ice is now in AL's Apex line. Some minor changes/upgrades but a great BC, would consider it a "Tech BC", have used Black Diamond with large steel tanks and it very good in all respects.

Apeks will be offering a twin cylinder kit for the Black Ice BC later this year. It will be p/n 427106.
It can be installed in minutes without tools. It consists of a second GripLock tank band and a second valve retention strap.
You will still need 1 set of ss tank bands on your cylinders to keep them rigid and to prevent stress on the manifold.
