Main one being that it doesn't cost that discounted price in the first place... That computer is pretty decent, but way overpriced. Example here in france (first link I found)

It's not a low price, the stated $1K+ MSRP is with the transmitter creating an appearance of a super huge discount. Bad scuba.com, no cookie.

The price is the same at LP and better at DRiS once you add the transmitter and upilnk cable.
