Does anyone who has been on the Bilikiki recently, have suggestions for gifts for the villagers?do they have electricity on the out islands? Will be there next week. Thanks

Hi,
I was there four years ago. The village we visited had just one panel with solar cells directly connected to a radio.
Things people on our boat brought included clothes, material for the local school and the most popular item was a ball for the children. All the children trouped together on the beach and immediately started to play some soccer.
Lucky you! I still consider my Solomon trip one of the best holidays in my life. enjoy it!
