HELP....we have always stayed and dove in Key Largo but the opportunity for a place to stay in Big Pine Key came up so we are going there.
Not taking a dive trip like usual ....but would like to get in a couple of dives...

Looking for recommendations on dive ops...leaving Sunday so any help would be wonderful...

Thanks
Lynn

Hook up with underseas or strike zone for looe key dives....they are priced the same and even share boats.

If you want a wreck dive, I believe Looe key dive resort on ramrod key still runs trips to the adolphus Busch wreck on Wednesdays, followed with a repetitive dive(or 2 depending on the day) at looe key.

Avoid strikezone. Divemaster on the boat required us to surface half way between our dives and signal the boat. Awful experience.

Wow, I never had that experience there. Who was the DM?

How deep is the reef

10-35' in the main reef area. There are deeper parts, but not where the boats will generally take you.
