Sorry for the dumb question but I was wondering if anyone knew if Bay Island Beach Resort had washing machines to use? We are going with two little ones. Between the sand, baby oil for sand fleas, sunblock........ I might need one.

From my dealings with the floks over there - I am sure it won't be a problem...
I am sure that the maids will be happy to do your laundry on a daily basis for little or no charge... Probably a little "tip" here and there and you'll have to hide the clean stuff to keep them from washing that as well....

Drop them an email and ask... but like I said they are going to treat you like one of the family over there so don't think it will be a problem...

Howiedean,
Thank for responding. I have been asking BIBR so many questions I didn't want to ask any more. Thank you. We are so excited about the trip. Thanks again.

The laudry is up in the white house, lower level, I think. Howiedean is correct, I think they would be glad to help you, or let you use the washers yourself. You could also use the sink in the room, or showers, dry things on the railing out side your rooms. but I would just have the kids jump of the dock a few times each day with thier clothes on. Really, we don't usually find we use much clothing down there. Swim trunks/ suits or shorts is about all you need. We used to pack way too much clothing thinking that we would be changing every day. Now we go light. two sets of swin clothes, and maybe two land clothes for trips to and from, and going off into town.
