best time to dive maldives ?

Any clues any one ?

i have some people saying july to Nov , while some say dec- march , wth jan/feb the best.

i'm keen on the big fishes - whale sharks, mantas , sharks etc !
any comments ?

also, any liveaboard boat recomandations ?

The good time is Nov to April, the best time is January to February.

i just returned from a vacation in the maldives
every thing was wonderful. see trip report below.
this place ought to be on everyone's list of places to go. everyone was very nice and polite. will return one day.
