The time is here for me to purchase a housing and dome port for my Canon 400D. In
NZ they are pretty expensive. Can anyone tell me where I can get a good deal on them? Has to be somewhere that will ship.

B&H Photo in New York -> www.bhphotovideo.com

Ryan at Reef Photo in Florida -> ryan@reefphoto.com

I've used both to ship to Australia with no problems. You'll need to check NZ rules for bringing stuff in, of course, and decide if you're saving.

For the excellent service Reef Photo provides if they are equal or even in the ballpark I'd use them every time, FWIW...service is worth quite a bit!

I actually emailed Reef photo a while back and still have'nt received a reply. I just emailed PhotoVidio. I know a pilot who is often in NY so might be able to arrange something.

Alcina do you use or recomend either the 6'' or 8" Dome port? I just got hold of a Sigma 10-20mm lens and it appears pretty good.

I really liked my Sigma 10-20 until I had the big F and it went glug glug :D When I made the insurance claim the Canon 10-22 had dropped in price and I just swiched to it. You won't be disappointed with the Sigma from what I have seen and experienced.

I use a Subal housing and their big dome for my WA.

I think the bigger port, but the smaller port will work. Again, talk to Reef Photo - here's another address rperry@reefphoto.com - this is Richard and he is usually very prompt! The advice you will get from Reef is worth sending the mail again, too.

I didn't even know that Reef Photo was around until I saw this post. Stopped there after dropping off lunch for my wife at the high school she teaches at in Broward county - these guys are right next to the beauty salon she has gone to for 25 years - and got a tray for my new Ikelite housing that B&H closed-out.
All this driving down there made me again realize what a parking lot Broward county is during the snowbird season.
