PolarPro offers NO info on what settings for the GoPro 10 will yield the best results. Talking about their red filter in deep blue water. Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Use 2x the resolution you will upload in. This will also allow you to zooom in a bit.
Always shoot full sensor 4:3 and then shift the image up/down when editing in 16:9 to make your composition because you will not be staring into a tiny screen to find the perfect composition on a dive.
Use protune with GoPro color so that you only need to tweak levels and contrast and saturation mostly - if you are not a colourist with complex software like Resolve it can be challenging to add in color for UW videos.
Use HEVC file format.
Don’t use the max resolution of your camera if shooting in warm waters - GoPros tend to overheat. If 4k is max shoot in 2.7k, if 5k is tops then 4k might work I guess. At minimum shoot 2.7k.
Use 60fps minimum frame rate. Let the camera choose shutter and ISO.

Here is the Backscatter cheat sheet. The settings listed are for Hero 9 but the vast majority are still applicable for the newest model Hero 11
