I'm a Fish!
I’ll start my favourite of the 5 computers I use is the older Oceanic XTC 100 it has huge numbers, no need for bifocals to read it. It is also good as I may have been focusing through a SLR camera viewer for several minutes before glancing at my wrist to see remaining time at that depth. My AI computer is much harder to see.

I bought mine because it had the largest numbers of any computer I've so far seen. But even so, I wound up cutting the wrist straps off and tie-wrapping it to my console so it would be far enough away to read.

I gave up and purchase gage readers. I have a Mares M1 and although I can read the numbers some of the important data like ft/m are so small that even with corrective lenses you still need a magnifying glass to figure out what units you are using.

Many of the newer computers offer large numbers. I personally like my Sherwood Wisdom . The numbers are large and the displays are intuitive and easy to figure out. Also the computer is back lit and also works well with a light. Some computer display and scratch guard combinations do not work well with a flash light in the dark due to internal reflections.

For a good price and for a dive computer that has a large readout, check out the Virsa Pro by Oceanic... I think it has the largest display in its price range. I know as being one of the over the hill gang that it works for me.

hope this helps..

I don't dive a computer but I was using one for a bottom timmer. I have a prescription lenses is my masks but the numbers that I needed were still too small. "NDL" but I don't care about that and depth and time were very small. Lots of computers are that way. I ended up getting an OMS bottom timmer.
