Benefit of GoPro Dive Housing

Hi all,

I'm just getting into the GoPro world as I got a Hero 4 Silver. Is it necessary or even beneficial to get the dive housing if you aren't diving to depths past 131'?

Are there any benefits of the dive housing over the standard one?

I have used the standard housing on my GoPro 3, while going to 132' diving the Blue Hole in Belize. I never had an issue at depth.
