We were in San Pedro... If you are into just the diving I would suggest staying in Turneffe or one of the Atolls... Better diving. San Pedro is really fun though..good luck!
scuba jeff:Is San Pedro even worth diving? I am trying to plan a trip to Belize for early next year. My wife and I have dove the Turneffe Atoll once. Is there any good diving in San Pedro?

Get an oceanfront room.. I was on the 1st floor but probably would have felt more comfortable up higher (beautiful 18 year old daughter, too many windows.. - didnt want to leave stuff on the porch as it was right on the beach) and I'm sure the views were awesome up higher. We rented a golf cart for the whole time (again...18 yr old daughter), ate out often (Jambel Jerk was my favorite). It wasn't too far from town, I would have loved to walk to town on the beach... again with the 18 year old. She loved it there, slept til noon then dragged us all over in the golf cart.. She did have the jello shots waiting for us ...scuba jeff:Great, I was actually looking at Banana Beach. Tell me about the resort. I think you have me sold on going to Belize and staying there for my next trip!
Thanks for the pictures.
