Belated Hi - Love this board

Hello All,

I've been on the board for a couple of weeks now. I love it. This place is great. I was OW certified in June, have 6 dives (4 training, 2 for fun) and 2-1/2 hours underwater. Hope to triple that in November when I will be on vacation in south Florida. SCUBA is really sucking me in. My other, more longstanding, obsession is sea kayaking...and I'd love to combine the two at some point.

My specific itinerary has not been set. I'll be in Orlando for a conference and then might head to Tampa for a buoyancy control course that I'd like to take, followed - as per my current plans anyhow - by camping in Bahia Hondo and diving in that section of the keys (i.e., Looe Key, maybe the obligatory stop at Pennekamp, maybe Joes Tug in Key West...still deciding on specifics). I'll also have my kayak and would like to get a few days in Wilderness camping on the Cape Canaveral National Seashore (miles and miles of deserted bird-infested coastline and marsh), a day at the space center, and maybe a stop at one of the north Florida warm water springs to dive with Manatee on my drive back up to Atlanta.
