Hi all -

I am preparing to take my new S90 on a trip to Maui with the Canon underwater housing. I am comfortable with my DSLR, but I find shooting with the S90 much more confusing. Particularly on two points:

- Flash exposure. I will be shooting with the built-in flash (I know it won't go very far). I am used to shooting in M mode and letting TTL take care of the flash exposure, but the S90 doesn't offer TTL in M mode (O why, Canon??). What kind of modes and settings are useful for the flash? Is there a point in using UW mode for flash shots?

- Ambient light exposure. Should I rely on UW mode, or shoot RAW and clean up the white balance later?

- Focus. Without focus points, how do you focus on the thing of interest? Face AiAF mode seems to find something it thinks is interesting in the frame. And there's continuous focusing, but that seems only to focus on the center of the frame.

Any pointers appreciated!
