Looking into possibly going there.....Anyone have a 1st hand report of this resort & diving there??...Any help would be greatly appreciated...thanks........

there's lot post re. wakatobi in Indonesia forum.
We went Sept 1 2006 for 7 nights. we just loved it. We will certainly go there again. Next time it will be for the 10 or 11 night trip. It was a long trip from San Antonio but it was worth it.
The diving- you see mostly small creatures. The divemasters will point them out to you so you won't miss them.
Waters were calm all of the days and very good visiblity.
The food at the resort was good. There was a variety of dishes so that should satisfy everyone.
We had a beach cabana and it was very comfortable. A/C for us women who are spoiled.
It sure felt like an island of paradise for me.
You can do air or nitrox. There is a building to charge your photo equipment. They have internet access.
