My friends and I produce skeletal fish art. It’s kind of a hybrid between traditional taxidermy and museum preparation with our own brand of artistic expression. I am looking for some input as to what species are big in your area (salt or fresh water) and what would make a cool skeleton. Check out some our work @ Helter Skeletons Limited and let me know what you think.

A Paddlefish, no question about the cool factor on that!

IT is kind of a grand recycling program. We get stuff from fishermen, fish processors, and our friends. But mostly, it is custom orders, people bring us their fish.

A gar pike would be cool, but not too many around. A young sturgeon would also make a nice piece of art.

I would love to get my hands on a couple on those species.
