Anyone watch the new show Beach Patrol? I think in every episode I have seen so far there has been at least one diver related rescue.

Saw the show about a week or two ago.... and YUP, there were 2 diver accidents on the show.

The interesting part of it that we noticed... in BOTH cases, the divers were fairly overweight. Just seemded odd to us. One women hadn't even dropped down, so it looked like maybe a heart attack or something. Could have been the stress of the swim out.

Think it kinda goes to show the idea that diving can be a strenous sport and you should be in somewhat good shape.

As I was saying... it was just noticable to us abut the divers.

I liked the last show where a threesome had surfaced and of the them was not there. The beach patrol started an all out search for the guy, boats, helicopter, beach vehicles the whole nine yards. Then one of the officers decided to check back at there base camp, sure enough the guy was there getting out of his gear no idea what was going on. It only took them an hour to decide to check the guys camp site. I really wish the show would do some sort of followup so that you know how the victims made out.
