Are there islands other than Bonaire, Curacao and the Grand Caymen that offer good beach diving?

Usually beaches and reefs don't do well together. On Bonaire you will find some, also on Grand Cayman you may find a patch reef off from the beach, and this is true of other Caribbean areas. Ironshore normally preceeds a better diving area, less sand to kill a reef. In Bonaire there is alot of broken coral covering the sand, so if this is what you meant by beach then, as far as best area for "shore dives" would be Bonaire. The whole west side of the island is available with a reef 50 to 100ft. from the shore.

ps. welcome to the board!

I was just in Abaco, Bahamas... the east side of Guana Cay has gorgeous beaches, and a barrier reef within 50 yards of shore. I'm not sure if Dive Guana will rent tanks, though... and be warned, there is *nothing* to do there.

Just curious, what more do you need than those 3 islands for shore diving? There are so many dive sites just on Bonaire & Curacao, that it would take a great deal of time to exhaust it.
