Hi all,

Looking at a brothers/daedalus/elphinstone trip this summer (finally after COVID) and early September is looking the best time in terms of holiday from work and various other commitments. From my understanding the hammerhead season in this area is ~June-August and oceanic whitetips arrive from October. As such, is September a bit of a lull month where I would be "missing the action" or would there still be decent chances for sightings?

I don’t think that the seasons are that black and white. We did BDE one late October and saw Oceanics, Hammerheads, Mantas and a couple of thresher sharks. You should see plenty in September and the water will be beautifully warm.
