I'm on bonaire currently and I'm diving with a cressi air travel bcd. Problem is towards the end of the dive I cannot stay down, making safety stops damn near impossible. At first I added more weight thinking it was just extra buoyancy because of the tank getting low on air cause I only noticed it at the end of the dive. My buddy noticed on the last dive ghost the right side of my bcd still had quite a bit if air in it. Tried hitting the dump valves but nothing would come out until she actually squeezed the bcd. Once she did that everything was good.

Question what could be causing this and is there a quick way to fix it?

bcd is a cressi air travel 2.0 brand new. She has the original cressi air travel and has no issues.

Thanks

Looks like you're going to need to twist your body in such a way that your dump valve is at the highest point and there's an uninstructed path between your air chamber(s) and the dump valve. Then, vent air and be patient for a moment to let all the air out.

the air travel 2.0 has a shoulder dump on the right and the corrugated hose on the left, so if the problem is getting air out of the right side you might get upright and use the right shoulder dump (and possibky the pull dump on the left)
