BCD keeps sliding up

I have the cummerbund fastened tightly, bur after I get in the water, it keeps sliding up. How can you prevent this?

Because not only will the BCD still want to slide up, you will also have an uncomfortable crotch.

Are you V shaped, or A shaped? And what kind of BCD do you have?

Does it slide up underwater or just at the surface?

I had this issue on jacket style BCDs, and have since swapped to a long back plate with a crotch strap which fixed it.

Is it too large a size for you? FYI it may not be straightforward to simply add a crotchstrap....

You're supposed to let the air out when you descend otherwise you'll go down and the BCD won't.
