Hi all. I am certified, but not experienced yet and I have a friend who is selling her Seaquest BC for about $125 which seems like a great deal, but its a medium and according to BC sizing charts, I am on the low end of a small, even though my shirt sizes are usually medium. Is it true that you can adjust straps and all to fit that much? I weight 122, chest 36, waist around 28, and am about 5'2-5'3. I want the deal of course, but don't want the thing moving around on me when I get in the water. I'd love to hear what your experience has been, especially women, since our bodies can be a bit more challenging to fit comfortably. Thanks for your help.

Hi....and welcome!

You may want to post your question in the forum for BCDs and accessories. But a quick answer is that you need to try it on and if it seems too big with the cumberbun on, its probably too big. See if you can get in a pool with it to make sure it's not too big too. Good luck.

Hello and welcome to the board...I would second trying it in a pool with a tank to see if it moves alot. If it is too big the equipment will control you in the water.
