I picked up a used BC and after inspecting it I discovered a broken dump valve spring. The lds can get the whole dump valve assembly but not just the spring. Since the price was reasonable I ordered the whole assembly but was wondering if there might be a source for springs if I find myself in the same situation down the road?

A number of BC and wing manufactures recalled some of their products due to failure of the OPV spring. Have a look through Manufacturers Recall Notices to see if your BC is included (as it should be.) It seems the wing/bc manufactures received a bad batch of springs from their vendor, but the replacement spring does not have the same issue.
