Our dive school has a Bauer Junior II compressor. It was bought several years ago. We never required to service the fill valve (1-2 in the image), but lastly we had some minor problems with it (hard to turn the knobs and not releasing the intermediate pressure to the tank.
The documentation of the compressor says nothing about servicing it, nor any diagram.
Any one has details of how to disassembly it and service.

Thanks.

This Bauer fill valve is the best (the less worst) I know but it is far from beeing perfect.
071339 hand wheel is to small, it requires a lot of power. Therefor I exchanged against a larger one. You find this new hand wheel on very left-top of pdf. 70341 is often leaking, exchange and fill valve is fine. Sometimes you have to exchange o-rings, not a big deal.

The problem i've found is that the bronze piece with the thread, where the handwheel threads, is worn out, making hard to turn.
I've asked a quotation for that service kit and the price is overwhelming.
I've found this valve in AliExpress, which costs 1/3 of the quoted service kit 072349 from the Bauer Spare Parts vendor in Florida.
I don't know if it's any good.

Interesting pricing. Over here in the UK a genuine Bauer high pressure spares kit is priced at €55.50 from the overpriced Singapore web site below.

While the price fixing going on from china depending where you live for that tat copy of the complete assembly from Aliexpress China is showing at £59. You may see different pricing in various countries.

I see the US president elect proposed import tariff of 100% on all this crap from China as a good thing and a better alternative than the B52H alternative solution to the problem.
Last month we had Flux 11 and Flux 12 landing at Fairford some of us thought the answer to the problem had just arrived. Some may disagree.
