I have 2 Pedators. A few months ago I was having problems with 1 eating through batteries. I sent it in to the service tech here in the US. They said it was because I used the wrong battery. I used a Tek Cell instead of a SafeT battery. The other day I changed batteries in both computers & used the SafeT batteries, now both of them are saying "low battery" only a couple days after changing them. I am going to buy 1 more set of SafeT batteries & see if it may have been a bad battery issue, though I used 4 batteries before I found any that worked. It actually acts as if it is not getting a good contact with the terminals. Anyone else experincing these issues? These issues are getting a little tiresome.

Hi Tammy,

We are working on a solution for this problem. You are right, it is probably more of a connectivity issue rather than a battery issue - however, batteries do play a role in this as well. Please send me an email to infoatshearwaterresearchdotcom so I can include you on my list to send a kit to as soon as all the parts are in.

Regards

I have experienced the same issue with my Predator. How do I get the upgrade?

Use this email address: infoatshearwaterresearchdotcom . Explain what is going on & they will send you further instructions. They will probably ask you for some info on your computer. Not hard to find, but takes a little time. What they send you is a little kit that has a foam pad for the bottom of the battery chamber & a different cap that presses on & pinches the battery cradle ends.
