Ok, this is my first foray into drysuit diving, and I've been checking out various manufacturers and styles. Weighing price and features, I've been considering either the Bares ATR light or the Typhoon (Atlan) Triflex cordura. I've done a fair bit of searching in the forum, but haven't seen too much about the Typhoon compared to the Bares. Knowing very little about the two, I am hoping there are a few of you out there who have used either one or both and perhaps could provide a bit of guidance. Any insights are appreciated.

Bare makes a very good suit IMO. I've had one of their Commercial Tri-Lams since '97 that's only had seals replaced. The only Typhoon I've seen had a horrendus bibb kindof thing that folded down in front, then wrapped around you like a straitjacket. What the object of that was I never figured out.

The Bare Light is a good suit for normal diving. Don't know what the current Typhoons are doing.

I dove a Typhoon Ranger Tri-Laminate suit for 10 years and it held up great. It is for sale if you are intereseted;) However, I don't know anything about the model you are looking at.
I just bought a Bare tri-lam ATR HD to replace it, and that suit is very nice too. I only have 6 or so dives on the Bare, and I like it a lot.
