Thinking about getting a Nex-Gen suit. Is the ATR light worth the extra money? I can not afford the ADR HD suit. Was looking at a Whites suit to for the same money. Which one would be the best choice?

and liked it.

I lost too much weight for it to work for me this spring, however, and sold it.

No complaints as far as the suit goes. It is a basic suit, and doesn't have the frills of some, but its light-weight, dries very fast, and is as tough as nails. I used it for spearfishing all last winter and neither got cold nor did I have any problems with it in terms of durability.

I have a Nex Gen Dry, it's the first dry suit I ever had. I'm diving in cold water, year round, the suit has held up very well. I've had no problems with this suit, and would recommend it as a low cost, but solid suit. Hope this helps...

I have the Bare Nex-Gen and I'm completely satisfied so far. I went in to buy the ATR Light and the guy at my LDS actually suggested I buy the (cheaper) Nex-Gen. Never thought I'd hear that!
