Hey,

So i got a used Bare CD4 drysuit and am having some issues with the sitech inflator valve. When the hose is connected the valve will leak air externally (to the outside of the suit) when pressure is applied to the hose. I have checked and replaced the o-ring on the inside of the nipple and it did not correct the problem. I have used my bcd hose, and still no fix. any ideas?

fyi figured it out... tore the inflator apart and located a crack in the plastic. The crack appears to be a weak point at the end of the hole where the nipple screws in. This causes an air leakto the outside if the suit when pressure is applied in a certain direction.

How were you able to get the valve apart? I managed to get it off the suit but unable to get valve itself apart. Allen socket in middle just turns the button. It is recessed and unable to get enough friction to get the screw to turn

Peel off the sticker on the button. There is a small allen fitting you can use to hold the button side.

Thanks, should have guessed thats what they would have done.
