Hey Jawfish,
Barbados is a great place to go. There is a ton of stuff to do above the water as well. Do a search for Barbados and richinnc and you should find a couple of trip reports plus a list of things about Barbados from my point of view. If you cant find them, pm me and I will send you the urls. I am afraid I dont have them for the next couple days as I am out on a business trip and I cant even put urls like that on my work pc.
I think one of the best dives there is Carlisle Bay....right across from the Prime Minister's office. It has a number of wrecks and is a shore dive.
