I'm a Fish!
I've read lots of threads on the board about Bangka Island - thanks for all the info :D

I'm now considering adding a few days with Murex into my Indonesia trip next year but I'm not sure if July would be a good time in regard to the weather conditions and marine life.

Does anyone have any experience to share of that time of year - or is it simply a no-go?

Advice welcomed, thanks

I went twice to Bangka in august which is supposed to be as windy as July. It was a different experience for each trip one was very fine, on the other one the wind picked up and access to the sites were limited.
I would not say it's a no go like for instance December to February where it is normally both windy and rainy, but the period is not optimal, it's a draw between not being able to access to all the sites and almost good everywhere.

If you can select yor period April to June then September-October would be perfect.

I will be there next month to do the Murex "Paradise" trip, will post a trip report once I am done :D
