Bali to Balikpapan

I'm in the throes of trying to plan this years dive trip. I want to combine a visit to Puri Komodo (Flores) and Derawan (Indonesian Borneo). I need to know if its possible to get a direct flight from Bali to Balikpapan. Heres hoping that one of you well travelled people will be able to tell me.

While there are several domestic airlines in Indonesia, I doubt there is one offering direct flights from Denpasar (Bali) to Balikpapan. More than likely you would have to route through Jakarta. A good travel agent should be able to confirm this though.
