Hi, I am considering a diving trip to Baja California in November. Where is the best diving there? I was considering Cabo Pumo, is it significantly better than Cabo San Lucas for diving? Can you reccomend resorts/houses/diving outfits there? Are there any sort of nightlife/good restaurants there? Is November a good time to go to Baja?

You are thinking of Cabo Pulmo in the East Cape... a good place as long as the waters aren't choppy from the winds. Chileno Bay has a brain coral and alot of ctivity as you follow the coral reef out about a quarter mile and Santa Maria Bay has some good areas once you get out of the bay and go around one of the 2 points - the right point will take you to a nice little spot the locals call the 'toilet bowl', take a whirl.

Of course the best places to dive in Baja Sur are the many islands in the Sea of Cortez over by La Paz and north to Loreto. Have a good one!

A second vote for Loreto. Dolphin Dive does a great job.
