Does anyone know of any Bahamas live aboards that leave out of Florida? Any information or reviews of those operations would be great.
Thanks

Some options:

Bahamas Diving Vacations - Juliet Sailing and Diving
Liveaboard Scuba Diving and Snorkeling in the Bahamas.
Bahamas & Palm Beach, Florida Scuba Diving :: Jim Abernethy's Scuba Adventures - mostly doing Tiger Beach shark trips thru 2014 - done in shallow water on a sandy bottom so not really Bahamas reef diving.

Otherwise there's several boats in all price ranges leaving from Nassau in the Bahamas - it's a cheap flight from FLL.

Blackbeards - Blackbeard's Cruises Liveaboards, Bahamas scuba diving
Aquacat - Liveaboard scuba diving in the Bahamas on the Aqua Cat
Carib Dancer Dive The Bahamas with Carib Dancer
possibly space on Cat Ppalu if someone doesn't charter the whole boat. Bahamas Sailboat Charter - Caribbean Catamaran Charter - Nassau - Cat Ppalu
There's also another sailing liveaboard there that I can't recall now. Similar in size/price to Cat Ppalu

all leave from Nassau.

Explorer also dives the Out Islands departing from Georgetown, Great Exuma. Explorer Ventures: Adventures in Liveaboard Diving

Check out my Juliet trip report. They mostly go from Miami to Bimini, although from about November to March the boat moves to Turks & Caicos.

There is also 'The Avalon' with Lost Island Voyages, they sail out of Nassau though. Did a 10 days trip with them year and a half ago (weather wasn't cooperating so we couldn't get to Conception Island :-( ). They would be very similar to the Juliet in terms of operation and they do 4, 7 and 10 days trip sailing out of Nassau down to wherever they can get to depending on weather. Their schedule is very flexible and you can always suggest where to go and as long as the weather cooperate and everyone on board agree, thats where you go.
