What size bolt snaps do you use for your backup light on a hog harness setup? I am looking at getting a small backup light but not sure the size of bolt snap. I have dry gloves so that will be a consideration.

Thanks

Here's the recommendation for bolt snap sizes for backup lights.

How to use: Selection of the correct device for the job is critical. Avoid choosing a bolt snap that is too big for the job. In general, the following sizes are used for the tasks indicated:

• Securing the long hose to the harness – 1/2” bolt snap
• Securing backup lights to the harness – 1/2” bolt snap
• Securing the SPG to the left hip D ring – 3/4” bolt snap
• Securing stage bottles – 3/4” or 1” bolt snaps

In cold water, I use 3/4" since those provide a slightly larger gate.
