Nice video, thanks. However can I run a backplate on my old tech and mount a single tank on it?

OK, now I have to ask....why would you want to??? :)

If you want to dive the backplate, just get some tank webbing, mount your tech bladder to it, and use it.

I have never tried to add a backplate to a BC for single tank diving. I guess you could use our stainless steel screw fasteners instead of the long bolts to screw the backplate to the inside of the Tech, like shown on that video, but I'm not sure what you would gain from it.

Thanks,

Scott

I love my Tech, I was looking to add a bit of stiffness as my tank flops a small amount, I would also like to add a bit of weight up high and off my belt. I guess I need to look at a plate, harness and weight pockets. So the only part I can reuse is my with wing?
