My question is, why does it matter who made it? Are you willing to pay more for a plate manufactured by one company than another? I mean, it's pretty much a bent piece of metal.

It sold for $112 including the webbing and hardware... that's not bad.

My question is... It already sold... so why the interest?

Good question Kev. If it's made of the metal it claims to be, and it's shaped like a backplate, WGAS who made it? Unless it has noteworthy features like those Tobin makes, a plate is a plate.

Cause I bought it. I talked to a few people before I bought it, and they told me that most backplates where fairly close to the same, and would work with most wings. After I won it, I found out from Tobin that this is not the case, so now I am trying to find out what make it is. DSS (tobin) tells me his wings may not work. Oxycheq Tells me they most likely will, and I already know it was used with a Halcyon wing before. I am basically just trying to find out what kind of wing to be looking for. If I can get a wing off ebay that fits, great. If not, then I guess I will be throwing the plate in a corner of my shop, and starting again.
