Well, it's been quite a while since I've posted pics...so I thought I'd give it a shot again...these are from lovely Puget Sound at one of my local dive spots...

Redondo Night Dives - 10-5-06

In the past, based on your comments, I've tried to include a handful of my favorites here in the post...I just haven't had time to choose and make them smaller...but I'll try to, for those of you that prefer not to go to a link...

And I certainly feel that my pictures have gotten significantly better than when I first started...all of your advice/feedback on here has been great, and sincerely appreciated. Of course, the best advice: Practice practice practice. (That just means more diving, anyway!)

Thanks.

Nice,,,thanks for sharing,,,,never dove the NW yet.

Your photos are great. Thank you for sharing. I learned to dive on the Southern Oregon Coast. Man that water was cold. Of course that was before they invented dry suits. We wore 7mm wetsuits and I still froze.

Thanks for checking them out. I actually still dive with my 7mm farmer john wetsuit. Haven't gotten cold yet. But it's getting old (too many dives, not too many years...) and is starting to lose its compression. I'll need a drysuit soon...

I haven't been in the water in Oregon yet. Any good places there that you'd recommend? Thanks.

There is some diving done out of Newport on the Central Coast. They also dive out of Port Orford on the Southern coast. It can be pretty rough there, depending on the conditions. In Coos Bay they go out into the bay for crab and shoot fish. The vis isn't the best but sometimes you just have to get wet. :D If your into oysters, Hoods Canal there in Washington is also a good bet. Just be sure they are not private stock before you harvest any of them.

Have fun.
