Well after a very long two year absence, I finally made it back to the Brac for a month easy diving and just all around quiet time. While I was supposed to be down in Jan, Covid related illness in the family prevented that. Luckily my TravelCayman documents were good until April. Paperwork to get here was done easily and quickly enough, but going about the process of showing the documents multiple times was a bit of a PIA. In the process of dragging the paperwork around, I managed to hid my vaccination card from myself in the depths of my backpack leading to a minor heart attack at Brac immigration. However the Dive Gods smiled upon me and showed me when I had hidden it. Easy flight with Cayman Airlines, multiple overhead warning about wearing masks and being on good behavior. Initial impressions are that it is still a sleepy little place and not much seems to have changed. This is last night’s setting sun over Little Cayman and boy did I feel like I was glad to be back. Be safe
