I am looking for a tropical weight BC. I have a Zeagle Ranger LTD that I like a lot. What do you think of the Zeagle Escape or Stiletto - or - should I go with a different make/model?

Not many abuse BC’s as much as we do. Stay with the Zeagle’s, they take a lickin and keep on tickin. Kind of like the old Timex commercials. :D

Bought a Escape a month ago and used it in the Fla Springs this weekend.95 feet for my AOW at Blue Grotto. It weighs nothing packs down to about the same. This is the last year for the Escape I found out from Zeagle so you can get some real good deals. I paid around 400 for mine. Glad I got it!!

I have a escape and love it. Light weight and small, good for vacation travel. Plus, 20 lbs on the back and 30 lbs on the front. I also second on the ScubaToys.com great service and call them they will help size you. The CummerBund is adjustable, another plus. The thing I like about the Ranger is that the bladders can be changed out in case you dicide to advance your diving.

Is that better now ? Never was a great speller

Cumber Bun? rofl...

yep... stay Zeagle. I got the ranger myself. Might be a bit heavy travelling around with it, then again, it is virtually undisctructable.

Don't be afraid to call Zeagle directly either. 813-782-5568 All the people there are awesome, and they can give you some advice on what may work best for you. They don't sell direct, so they won't push you to buy a certain BC just to make a buck. Heather or Veronica in Customer Service will be more than glad to help you.

I personally have had a Ranger since 1998. I have well over 2000 dives on it, and have never had a problem with anything. And remember, with Zeagle it's "lifetime warranty" to the original owner. Why buy anything else?
