Hi everyone! Just came across this site and thought I'd jump right in.
I was first certified by PADI back in 2001 when I was stationed in Guam with the US Navy. It sparked off an obsession. I got my AOW and started my Rescue course before being transferred to Okinawa. Over the next few years I was in the water more than out of it. Unfortunately I was badly injured and was medically discharged from the Navy and was unable to dive for a long while. After my 7th surgery, I'm finally able to dive again. My fiance and I just made the jump from Texas to the Florida Keys. Immediately wwe signed him up for his NAUI AOW course and I decided to go ahead and get recertified since it had been a long time since I had been diving. Our instructor was amazing and we had a great time! We are already booking dives!! Looking forward to meeting new dive buddies in the area and continuing to learn about this great sport. Thanks!!

Welcome to the board!! Pretty new myself but love to hear from anyone that shares the same passion. Sorry to hear about your medical problems, but cheers for getting wet again :)

Safe diving!
