What Did you think? I thought Pete's and Annies' class was great, it at least has got me started in here. As far as products the utc-digital.com computer was cool. I will wait for it to be air integrated. Other than that I didn't see that much new. Yes, I went fast because I had 2 days and four classes. Tell me what I missed or what im missing. Thanks
P.S. This is my first post, so feel free to let me know what all I did wrong

Please tell me more about that item. It was bashed on TDS though. I would like to hear more.

The computer is a little big but, to have the nav. capabilities to find a diver, group, or the boat is really an awsome product. We often dive in 0 vis and cant tell where your buddy is. With this is has a big light and good audable so it can lead you right to them or the boat. You can goto utc-digital.com to view it and proably get some more technical info.

Yes, I have already checked out their website before DEMA though. The screen shots on their site are very limited. Even, I can't find the manual.

I think with the response they are getting at dema they will put up some more info soon

Do you have any price info in ballpark?

Thanks in advance,

not yet, I will call them after the show is over and see what the computer and the boat station run.

I think that having the ability to have divers easily directed from the boat in low viz, finding a wreck, another diver, SAR, Etc. is a great idea, not to mention the ability to have other divers know where is and how to get to, a diver in distress, even if they can not respond .. is a fantastic idea

And it looks like a good dive computer with useful features like deep stops, etc.

I have alerted the "troops" at DEMA and they are on the case even as we speak :)

Walter, Moose, Max as well as many others were VERY impressed with this product. I would have to dive one (with a buddy) before I could pass judgment one way or the other. There are MANY divers out there who will only do a "mental" gear review and quited often they sacrifice GREAT products on their altar of faux superiority.
