I'm recently back from Bonaire. I was there the first week of July and it was my first time. It was positively the easiest place I've ever been for diving. It was a trip thru my LDS and we stayed at Captain Don's. I know some folks don't like Captain Don's but I didn't have anything to compare it to and I thought it was a good place to stay and they took us to some nice dive sites. I would definitely go back someday, I just don't know when that would be.

The dive sites we dove at were Cap'n Don's House reef, Hand's Off, Cap'n Don's Reef (Keine Bonaire), Margate's Bay, Knife, Hilma Hooker, Keepsake (twice), Karpata, Mi Dushi, and Windsock.

I've also attached some pics from our dives.

And believe it or not, you've just scratched the surface. Well I must confess it was a long time ago when we had our first trip. Lots of wonderful memories. Bonaire gets so many repeat visitors. They must be doing something right. So glad you enjoyed your trip & thanks for posting. I guess now you must be experiencing PBD.

Sounds like you had a great time! Did you do all boat dives, or did you venture out for some shore diving too?

It was a split between boat dives and shore dives. The dives over to Kline and the most northernly and southernly sites and the Hilma Hooker were boat dives while the rest were shore dives.

beautiful octo pic. Jealous of your seahorse. I'm gonna get a plastic seahorse to take on all my dives so I'll finally have a chance of finding one.

Song: Well, that's just cheating!!:)
