I had a few characters in my OW course last week so it was a fun and entertaining couple of days. Tuesday and Wednesday were confined water, Thursday we took them out to the Gold Coast Seaway which was ok, probably about 3-5 m vis and saw a little sea horse which made up for the lack in vis. The current picked up after the second dive though which made my job as the DMT to go get the float very very tiring. Friday we crossed the border and took them out to Cook Island Aquatic Reserve (off Tweed Heads) and had some good dives there. I was mainly watching the students all the time though cause we had a shooter rocket up to the surface during his hover and despite my extra weights I still couldn't keep him down.
